Photo submission regulations

How Dimash reviews private photo submissions and when a photo may be used.

PRIVATE REVIEW,
explicit permission.

These Photo Submission Regulations explain how Dimash reviews photos you choose to submit from your account dashboard, and the permission you give if a photo is accepted. They apply only to the private photo-submission feature.

Submitted photos are private. They are reviewed before any public use. A submission is not published automatically, and submitting a photo does not guarantee that it will be accepted or used.

You may submit a photo only after you give explicit permission for Dimash to use that photo in its public gallery and marketing materials. The permission checkbox starts unchecked. No upload is accepted until you affirm that permission.

You may submit JPEG, PNG, or WebP images. Each file must be 25 MiB or smaller. Other image types are not accepted.

Dimash keeps submitted photos only as needed to review them, to honour an accepted use, and to meet the withdrawal and removal timelines described here. Original files are not kept indefinitely.

You may withdraw a submission that has not already been withdrawn. Withdrawal immediately blocks new use of that photo. Removal from managed collections may take up to 30 days.

A submission may be rejected if it does not meet these regulations. Dimash does not provide a specific reason for an administrative rejection. A rejected photo is not used in the public gallery or marketing materials.
